Your host Riaan is a FGASA Level 3 guide and has been working in the bush for 15 years. He is passionate about birding and is specialising as a bird guide, he also hold a Trails guide and Tracker Level 2 qualification. Riaan is looking forward to sharing some "bush time" with you.

Julie "Mpunzi" Brand   - Owner & Guest liason

Your other host Julie is a FGASA Level 2 guide of 7 years. She also operates as the point of contact for all guest enquiries and bookings

Julie is passionate about nature and conserving wild places. She considers it a privilege to facilitate guests in ultimately arriving at Quatermain's 1920's Safari Camp.

Craig  "Madala" Stretch  - Camp manager & Guide.

Craig is a qualified NQF2 Nature site guide and has a special interest watching our feathered friends carry out their colourful & sometimes dramatic lives around camp.

Lungisile "Eagle eyes" Nyawe - Guide

Lungi is a qualified  Nature site guide and enjoys nothing more than sharing his incredible knowledge of the local fauna and flora that he built up living here since he was a small child.

Thandani "Kosi" Mayinje - Senior housekeeper

Kosi brightens any room that she walks into and ensures that the camp is in tip-top shape.

Nositile "Gogo" Nyawe - Chief Cook & Bottle washer

As the "Grandmother" of the camp' Nositile ensures we are all well fed with her amazing traditional African cooking, just the thing to regain ones strength after hours in the bush

Vivian, Kosi and Nosi "The Super Ladies"

These three ladies work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure all guests have a comfortable and wonderful stay.
